Tru Studio is a full-service interior and architecture design firm in Newport Beach, CA, led by principal designers Malia Kaizuka and Kellie Conrad. Our Story
Malia and Kellie first met on a job site more than a decade ago — and as they like to say, it was love at first sight. What began as a shared passion for thoughtful interior design quickly grew into a lasting friendship rooted in mutual respect, creative curiosity, and a genuine love for the craft of designing custom homes.
After collaborating on several successful luxury residential projects across Orange County, they founded Tru Studio with a clear vision: to build an interior design firm in Newport Beach, CA that values lasting client relationships just as much as exceptional design. Today, Malia and Kellie continue to challenge and inspire one another — bringing curiosity, technical expertise, and an unwavering commitment to creating homes that are timeless, intentional, and uniquely reflective of the people who live in them.
